Live Challenge:
  • Venue: Alcester Grammar School, Alcester, Warwickshire, UK
  • Date: November 14th (TBC)
  • Check-in: 08:00 onwards (Category times TBC)
  • Racing: 09:00 onwards (Category times TBC)
  • Distance: All categories 8,848 metres
  • Results & Awards: 12:30 (TBC) & posted on-line November 15th
Virtual Challenge:
  • Venue: Your home / sports facility
  • Date: Complete your challenge between November 1st and November 14th
  • Distance: All categories 8,848 metres
  • Results: Posted on-line November 15th
Team Categories:
  • School (U18): Eights (or thereabouts)
  • Adult: Fours, Pairs or Singles
  • Singles: are expected to be somewhat competitive, completion times around 35 – 50 minutes
  • Fours and Pairs: The emphasis is on fun, with a hint of competition, completion times around 30 – 45 minutes
  • Schools teams: Are expected to be bedlam!
  • Singles and Team Captains for Live and Virtual challenges must complete the registration form below, you will receive an email confirming registration
  • No entry fee, participation subject to receipt of sponsorship / donation from all team members, details in the registration form, below
  • Each team to use a single Concept 2, group teams will use it in relay, no limit on frequency of change of rower, each rower to complete minimum 500 metres
  • Teams can be single or mixed sex
Sponsorship and Raffle Prizes:
  • We are looking for a Main Event sponsor and 10 Lane sponsors.
  • If your business is able to support us through sponsorship or raffle prizes, please email 
  • Live challenge results will be gathered and submitted by the organisers
  • Virtual challenge results and a photo of the result on the Concept 2 screen to be emailed to by 18:00 on November 14th
  • Singles results will be categorised by age-range, weight & gender.  Adult team results will be categorised by gender. School team results will be categorised by age-range and gender. Categorisation will be subject to at least 3 teams competing in each category.
