Wine, questions, pancakes & more ...

Although this photo shows the students in their Proms outfits, over recent months the students, teachers and parents at King's Lynn Academy have been busy fund raising via a variety of events to bring in a truly impressive total for their twinned school Amrit in Anghakola community of Palpa district, Nepal.

First they raised around £500 from a wine tasting event.

Then they raised £250 from a quiz night.

Another £20 was raised by making pancakes and selling them for 10p each to the children at school

Finally, £300 was received in donations from the school.

In all, King's Lynn have now managed to raise £1,181

A huge thank you to the hard working Teachers, Parents and Students at King's Lynn Academy. The money raised will be a huge boost to meeting on-going running costs of Amrit school.
